Profile: What needs to be said. It goes like this. I've been a
fan of Death for years now, as well as a fan of
skateboarding itself. It always seemed that the way
that Death handled things and got it all going was
truly punk. this is a do-it-yourself company and that
has always appealed to me. I had never thought too
seriously about riding for Death because im an
American and that type of thing isn't really done in
our industry. but when I found ouit that Death now had
distribution in the States, that sealed the deal in my
mind....

Why not, I says to myself. this company is
about as close to perfect for me as i can think of. .
So then it goes like this.. I made friends with Niall
from Kingpin a few years back and I just called him
and said "Niall, do you know any of the homies at
Death , i wanna ride for them?" He was psyched and
gave me Nick's email, my e-mail to Nick went like
this, "Hey dude, I know we dont know each other but your
company is rad and I want to represent you in America,
would you ever consider having a Yank as a pro?
Without hesitation he relayed to me that never a more
perfect match could he have thought of. Its rad, after
hanging out a bit, Nick and i found out that we have a
lot of the same views on society and skateboarding. it
really is ideal.

So, i've been sharing skateboard time with Schooner and
Richie Jackson lately, and when I made a venture to
meet them both for the first time Richie was taken
aback because he was certain that I was going to be this
little legitimate leprichaun who would grant him a pot
o gold and speak in a proper accent of the land. Much
to their dismay i'm from the area of Chicago, Illinois,
yes the home of Al Capone and all truly gnarly
gangsterism, and have an american accent. Sorry guys.
Fortunately being from a metropolis area gives me a
passion for all things fast paced, trains, cars,
bicycles, consumerism, and skateboarding.
Basically, im really stoked to be on this team and
shred the gnar with these dudes. fuck it.
