120% pure madness! When I first saw Rob I assumed he was just another one
of those kids trying to look the part with a mowhawk and punk get up.
A short time later when I actually saw him skate I realised he wasn't
just another faker, he really does like to hurt himself and skates like
a fucking lunatic. After every comp, demo or social gathering there's
a Rob Smith story doing the rounds! Always pushing it and entertaining
people in the process, skateboarding the way it should be. Absoulotly no control over a skatebord at all, speaks
to himself on a regular basis, does NOT have the abaility to read, thinks
benihanas are stylish. Slowy becoming an alcoholic and is becoming addicted
to pain. Put all of these things together and you get Rob Smith. "Who"
some ipod wearing, Nike bummer might say, but to the rest of us, "oh,
is he the guy that tries to hurt himself at all the comps and shit?"
The lads shares a rare sense of humour in which only a certain breed undersatnd,
he's up for travelling on a regular basis and is getting better at skating
as we speak. When he's not leaping off a massive fence or barrier he usually
pretends he's a plasterer at work, when in reality he's on his bed
moaning and groaning about a hang over. A true living legend i must say,
a neccasarity on a skate mission, good laugh and will not see you stook
for cash. Keep up the "narl.....on", Booooombarrrara! P.S. Speaks
